Incredible insight to the creative process for profit. The opinion of creatives needing a systematic approach is absolutely correct. I have spend so many hours debating this in my mind and believe that my systematic approach to my creative work has brought me from a starving artist living in a station wagon to a six figure salaried creative, which my family appreciates very much. Now I can afford to build a home studio and do art for myself as well. The personal creative time has now increased and I can afford the tools for creating music. My creative time at home is making my creative for profit life better as well.
What I am saying here is that Todd Henry has created a very useful forum for anyone that wants to be successful as a creative. I was in a rut until I listen to several of Todd’s podcasts. Now, I can feel the rhythm coming back that I lost about a year ago. It reminded me of the correct principles. Yes, creatives do need principles and systems. If you don’t think it’s true, you are still at an immature place in your creative life.
